An engine needs to take in lots of air when working, if the air it takes in is not clean, the pistons and cylinders are very likely to be damaged sooner than expected. So, we need an air filter to stop the dust from entering the engine.

Composition of The Air Filters

Filter Paper

Filter paper is the key component. And F8 fully glued filter papers are the best. The glue used is acrylic resin. This glue is water-proof, so, it doesn’t deform after rain. This means the engine can get enough air to make sure the engine produces adequate power. 

Air filters made from F8 papers can fit any working environment, no matter how dusty or humid it is.

Fold number of filter paper also determines its filtering effect. The more folds, the more air for the engine, the more powerful the engine is. Good quality filters have around 300 folds.

Screen Meshes

Our products’ screen meshes are all Zinc-coated for better rust resistance, and they last longer. Also, the thicker the screen meshes, the less likely the air filter deforms, and the longer it lasts. 

Good quality air filters’ screen meshes are around 0.9mm thick, and normal ones are around 0.5mm thick.

Sealing Cover

Good quality air filter sealing covers are made of PU, as we all know PU has better air-tightness and elasticity. Even in winter, this material doesn’t harden or crack. 

These benefits ensure that their is sufficient air supplied to the engine, so, their is more power produced.

O-shaped Ring

Good quality o-shaped rings are made of natural rubber. It's soft and won't brittle break in winter. and there is no joint on it.

In contrast, common products are made from synthetic rubber, which tends to break in cold weather. Often, there are joints on the normal ones.

Inner Ring’s Material

For good quality filters, stronger plastic is used for the inner rings, it doesn’t brittle break in winter. 

Normal ones’ are made from synthetic plastic, which breaks easily in winter.

Service Life

Good quality filters last around 50,000 km and can be reused. Normal ones can’t be reused.

Good quality air filters can only be made by qualified factories while average quality ones can be made by any factory.
